Caderyn Owen-Jones

Born in South Africa but raised in London, Caderyn successfully navigated both the UCAS and Common Application systems before deciding to study at Yale University, where he double-majored in Classics and Archaeology.
While pursuing his degree, he was involved in many mentoring and language exchange projects, and worked concurrently in curriculum design and consulting.
Caderyn has conducted research across the world, including Turkey, Europe, China and the U.S. As a teacher, Caderyn has worked with hundreds of students, and has also been heavily involved in personal mentoring and essay editing.

Chase Tai

With an undergraduate degree in Economics from UC Berkeley, Chase worked in data analytics, asset management, and sports broadcasting before transitioning to education consulting.
He also has a strong passion for education and he completed his Master’s in International Education Policy at Harvard Graduate School of Education before joining PANO.
As a former curriculum developer and internal coordinator of multiple educational programs, Chase has worked with government officials and community leaders in several different urban and rural settings. He has worked as a counselor in China and the U.S. and helped with hundreds of students on test prep and specialized subjects.
Besides teaching AP and IB subjects, he is also an experienced instructor in math, economics, English, and standardized tests such as SAT, ACT, SAT II, and TOEFL.

Brittany Smith

Brittany graduated from Yale University. She got a perfect score on APUSH and AP Language respectively.
Brittany had a strong passion for creative writing. As a senior at Yale University, she worked as an editor for the Yale Daily News, the “Oldest College Daily.” After graduation, she worked as an independent editor and proofreader for the human editing division of the prestigious digital education company, Grammarly.
Brittany has a diverse background. She has worked in the U.S., China, and Korea, and she taught intermediate and advanced English classes and American History and Culture classes to students at Lingnan College of Sun Yat-sen University.
Additionally, she worked as a tutor, helping students with the SAT Critical Reading and Writing section and the following AP courses: AP United States History, AP English Language and Composition, and AP English Literature and Composition. This includes help with the academic essays of AP courses.
Moreover, since graduation, she has helped scores of students work on application essays for Tufts, Emory, Stanford, Columbia, Notre Dame, and the UC System.

Cindy was raised in Chicago. She studied journalism and art history at Northwestern University.

During college, she studied abroad in Beijing, Shanghai, and Florence.
Last year, Cindy was awarded a Fulbright grant to teach English in Taiwan. She designed and taught her own curriculum to junior high school students in Chiayi County.
Cindy believes that a good education is the most important tool a child can have.

He studied history at New York University with a focus on military, imperial, and East-West comparative subjects, graduating with high honors.
Before joining PANO, he also worked as a recruiter and tutor for IB History and English in addition to essay coaching.
He now takes great pleasure in helping students hone their ideas and sharpen their writing to put forth their best selves to their dream schools.

During his time at UCSB, Cory developed a strong interest in mathematics and independently studied advanced math courses. He taught mechanical engineering at UCSB and actively engaged in academic research, publishing five research papers that have been cited over 180 times.
Cory specializes in college admissions consulting, curriculum development, and student mentoring. He has helped students achieve their academic goals and successfully guided his younger brother into Harvard University’s mathematics program. After completing his Ph.D., he transitioned into software development and joined a health startup accelerator focused on technological innovation and applied solutions.
In addition to his academic and technical background, Cory has years of entrepreneurial experience. He has founded four startups across diverse fields such as technology, education, and healthcare, gaining extensive experience in business operations and strategic planning. His background has equipped him with strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills, allowing him to provide students with practical advice on entrepreneurship and business-related topics.
Cory also co-founded an educational consulting company in Taiwan. Combining his multicultural perspective and professional expertise, he supports students in aligning their passions with their goals—guided by the words of Nobel Laureate Albert Schweitzer: "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success." Through this approach, Cory helps students find joy in learning and achieve academic excellence.

Growing up in Canada, Chris developed a deep fascination for the sciences early on. His academic journey is marked by perfect scores on SAT subject tests and AP exams, alongside demonstrated leadership and technical skills, as evidenced by his founding of his high school’s VEX Robotics department. In its inaugural year, Chris’s team swept the awards at the regional competition.
Building on his academic and extracurricular successes, Chris graduated from UCLA with a B.Sc. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. During his tenure at UCLA, he first-authored several notable research papers on EFIRM, a groundbreaking saliva-based cancer detection technology, which have since been featured in Springer textbooks. This significant body of work also led to his acceptance into Harvard Medical School.
Throughout his academic career, Chris demonstrated outstanding capability and commitment, serving as both a teaching and research assistant. Following unforeseen circumstances, Chris returned to Taiwan, where he ventured into various entrepreneurial fields.
Nonetheless, his passion for academia remains strong, and he dedicates his spare time to sharing his expertise with students at Pano Education. Chris currently teaches AP Biology, AP Psychology, and SAT English, guiding students toward achieving their own academic aspirations.

Jeff not only successfully helped students establish effective study routines, but also found the experience of assisting others through sharing his own experiences gratifying.

Her adventurous spirit led her to study abroad in London, Berlin, and Washington D.C., and even to conduct research in Uganda.

Kawkrai Maksrivorawan

Kawkrai moved to the United States with his family at the age of seven and grew up in Los Angeles, a vibrant and multicultural city that nurtured his strong interest in cultural exploration. This passion led him to pursue a degree in Geography at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During his time at UCLA, he broadened his global perspective and further developed his leadership skills by serving as the president of an academic student organization.
After graduation, Kawkrai relocated to New York City and gained extensive work experience across multiple industries. Drawing from his own college application journey, he enthusiastically supported friends and younger relatives by helping them craft their application essays and guiding them through the admissions process—many of whom were successfully admitted to their target schools. This experience brought him a great sense of fulfillment and motivated him to continue this meaningful work at PANO.

Peggy spent her childhood in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With limited information and resources, she independently applied to several top universities—including UC Berkeley, UCLA, the University of Pennsylvania, and Cornell—and was successfully admitted.
In addition to her academic achievements, Peggy is passionate about art and design. She prepared and submitted a personal art portfolio featuring animation, sketches, and digital design pieces as part of her college applications. While she was accepted to multiple programs, she ultimately chose to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated in 2016 with a double major in Linguistics and French, and minors in Japanese and Applied Language Studies.

Eventually he would go on to study at Yale University where he began as a biology major. However, later he would transfer to and graduate as an Applied Mathematics major.
Throughout his educational career, Andy has always felt blessed to have received guidance on the correct path to college admissions and benefitted greatly from the resources he had available to him. Although born Taiwanese, Timmy grew up in Hong Kong and eventually graduated from Northeastern University in Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Psychology.
He has worked for Marriott Hotels, Steam Valve, Farglory Human Resources and also as a long-time mentor for international students in Boston.
With experience working in various fields in Boston, Taipei, and Hong Kong, he has helped countless students apply for various summer programs and universities around the world in search of their passion.
Although born Taiwanese, Timmy grew up in Hong Kong and eventually graduated from Northeastern University in Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Psychology.

Lily Marie Exum-Dahlquist

Lily is passionate about writing and storytelling and was accepted upon admission into a full scholarship program at Columbia. She worked part-time as an English teacher and at a bilingual school in Brazil. She also studied Chinese abroad at NTU. Lily is passionate about teaching and working with students, serving as the Resident Director for a US State Department study abroad program at Tsinghua University in Hsinchu. Lily believes education is the first step to making the world a better place and becoming a calmer, happier person. Lily loves learning languages, traveling, pop culture, gaming and spending time with her cat.

Terrence Sellers

Terrence was born and raised in Los Angeles, before relocating to Philadelphia to study Science, Technology, & Society and Cinema Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. As a regular decision applicant, Terrence had to quickly learn the Ivy League application process with little outside assistance. After graduating with honors, he moved to Taiwan to teach English, before moving into a decade-long career in corporate tech marketing. Terrence has written content, both fiction and non-fiction, that has been used by businesses around the world. He believes that a good education is the foundation of not just a successful career, but a fulfilling life. Terrence is interested in the interplay between technology and storytelling and how these two facets of humanity continue to evolve together.

Anna Zheng

Anna was born and raised in New Jersey. In 2022, she entered Princeton University and graduated in 2025 with an A.B. in East Asian Studies with High Honors, achieving proficiency in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English. During her studies, Anna also earned an A.S. in Business Administration and an A.A. in Psychology. She served as a Korean language course assistant and a transfer student mentor at Princeton, while also working as an SAT and English tutor in her spare time, gaining extensive teaching experience.
In her junior year, Anna joined the Tri-University Program, studying at Keio University in Japan, Yonsei University in Korea, and The University of Hong Kong (HKU). In the fall of her senior year, she further broadened her horizons as an exchange student at Tsinghua University in Beijing, deepening her understanding of diverse educational systems and cultures, and cultivating strong cross-cultural academic and communication skills.

After studying an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Sociology from the University of Southampton, Joe went on to attain his CELTA qualification from the Oxford Studies Centre.
He has been working as an English teacher for many years both in the UK and here in Taiwan. During his career, Joe has had experience leading classes over the full spectrum of abilities, from beginner to advanced.
He also has extensive experience in teaching specialist exam classes, specifically for the IELTS/TOEFL exam for more than ten years.

He is passionate about sharing knowledge in economics, agriculture, and education. Daniel brings a wealth of teaching experience. He has worked as an assistant teacher in high school STEAM classrooms and an English-Spanish bilingual school in the U.S., and he has formal TEFL (Teaching of English as a Foreign Language) training and teaching experience in Indonesia and Taiwan. At PANO, he teaches SAT, SSAT, ISEE, TOEFL, IELTS, and IB Spanish. He also teaches AP Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at PANO for international schools, where he has developed a comprehensive set of lesson plans and teaching materials.

Additionally, she served as the captain of Taiwan’s National English Debate Team, demonstrating exceptional linguistic expression and critical thinking skills.

She worked as a writing consultant at Smith College’s Lazarus Center for Career Development for four years, helping students improve their résumés and job application materials. Familiar with bilingual education in both Chinese and English, she excels at helping students effectively enhance their language proficiency and writing skills.

Jessica completed 11 AP courses and earned top scores on standardized tests, including a perfect score on ACT Math, showcasing her strong logical thinking and academic abilities. She has served as a volunteer tutor in math, science, and programming, and is skilled in teaching standardized tests such as AP Math, Physics, SAT, and ACT. Also, she was captain of the girls' golf team and the principal clarinetist of the school band.
After college, she worked on major infrastructure projects in the U.S., including the George Washington Bridge and New York subway system. She later returned to Taiwan to contribute to large-scale engineering projects such as the Dan Jiang Bridge.

She has worked with students from elementary to college level, focusing on critical thinking, comprehension, and soft skills to ensure both academic success and long term personal growth. For high school students, Louise also provides guidance on academic planning and career development. She is currently an essay editor at PANO, where she helps students strengthen their English writing skills, prepare for standardized tests, and uncover their personal stories and potential throughout the school application process.

After college, Jasmine dedicated herself to promoting educational equity, social justice, and prison reform, participating in advocacy efforts through organizations such as Let’s Get Free and the Abolitionist Law Center.
Jasmine also co-leads an arts education program that supports educators in using art to explore issues of race and social justice. Jasmine believes that combining art and education can inspire people to think and live in more creative and liberating ways.
Jasmine has a strong interest in Taiwan’s culture, history, and education system. Jasmine look forward to gaining a deeper understanding of how local students learn and what they need. During her time as a student, Noel was awarded a fellowship from Carleton College to travel to Japan and serve as a foreign language teaching assistant at Technos College in Tokyo, where she received the Technos International Prize for her commitment to promoting international understanding.
She also completed several internships, including a fully-funded opportunity to study organic peach farming in California, and a National Science Foundation-funded research experience in physical oceanography. The findings from her NSF research will appear in a forthcoming co-authored paper on Arctic sea ice.
Since joining PANO, Noel has primarily taught SAT English and Math, as well as AP Math and Physics. Drawing on her strong background in physics and solid foundation in mathematics, she is passionate about helping students understand complex analytical ideas and gain confidence on exams.
